Molly Roberts

Associate Clinician

I am a psychotherapist licensed to see clients in New York and Connecticut. I am passionate about working with women who are navigating life and facing various stressors such as infertility, the postpartum period, as well as the challenges and everyday life of being a mother. I have worked in various hospital settings, with a strong focus in the neonatal intensive care unit, supporting families both during and after a NICU admission and with women who have experienced birth trauma and specialize in working with mothers who have children diagnosed with food allergies. I earned my master’s degree from Columbia University School of Social Work.

I am passionate about working with women who are facing difficulties with life transitions including marriage, infertility and pregnancy and social difficulties. I work with women who want to address anxiety, who are in a caregiver role or mothers with a child who experiences a medical diagnosis or behavioral issues.

When working with me you will feel heard, validated and we work to provide you a safe space where we can lift the weight from your shoulders and find a sense of relief. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques that are catered to meet a client’s need such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and a psychodynamic approach.

What is the best part of the work for you?

I enjoy supporting clients through life's ups and downs, navigating a road not anticipated then processing and making adjustments to better handle the unexpected. I am passionate about supporting clients throughout life cycle changes, such as marriage and the transition into motherhood. When clients come to me with struggles like infertility, postpartum anxiety, or their child's health challenges, I feel grateful to be a strong source of empathy and support for them. Working together as a team, I believe that we can make great progress through collaboration on your journey.

How will sessions look with you?

I am a supportive, engaging, and validating therapist who will create a safe space where you feel seen and heard. As a therapist for women, such as a new mother adapting to a “new normal” or a mother of a child with life threatening food allergies or a new medical diagnosis, I ensure that my clients feel supported and work to foster a safe and nurturing therapeutic space. I tailor treatment to a client’s particular needs and my approach is one that is warm and collaborative. I look forward to connecting!
